YPSILANTI, Mich. - Natalie Johnson shot 79 to finish with a 232 total on Tuesday and lead the Central Michigan golf team in the final round of the Shirley Spork EMU Invitational at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
Johnson, who shot 78-75 on Monday in the first two rounds of the tournament, finished 17th in the 58-player field.
The Chippewas posted a 323 team score on Monday to finish with a 54-hole total of 955 and in ninth place in the 10-team event. CMU opened on Monday with a 317 and then posted a 315 in the second round on Monday afternoon.
