RIO VERDE, Ariz. - Natalie Johnson shot a 2-over-par 74 on Sunday to lead the Central Michigan golf team in the third and final round of the Rio Verde Invitational on the Quail Run course at Rio Verde Country Club.

Johnson's 74, which was one shot off her career best, gave her a 54-hole 239 total. She finished among a group tied for 56th in the 93-player field. Johnson opened the tournament on Friday with an 80 and shot 85 in Saturday's second round.

"She was just very steady and back to her normal self," CMU coach Cheryl Stacy said of Johnson, a senior who recorded two birdies and four bogeys on her Sunday round.
