Hudson's improved work ethic leads to on-court success

Sophomore guard Presley Hudson jumps to shoot the ball on Jan. 4 at McGuirk Arena.

For sophomore guard Presley Hudson, breaking the Central Michigan women's basketball single-game scoring record wasn't exactly at the top of her goal list this season.

Instead, Hudson said she likes to focus on winning games more than anything else.

“Breaking the record was a good thing, but I don’t really put much emphasis on it, like 'Oh my gosh I beat the record,'” Hudson said. "I don’t think about it all the time. It’s just a good milestone for my career, but really I’m just happy I am finding a way to win for my teammates and coaches.
