MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan’s Presley Hudson was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for women’s basketball for the second consecutive week.
Hudson, a sophomore guard from Wayland, averaged 28.0 points, 5.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in leading the Chippewas to a pair of MAC victories.
She scored 35 points in leading the Chippewas to an 89-62 win over Akron, making 12 of her 18 field goal attempts (66.7 percent). She made six 3-pointers.
Three days later, Hudson had 21 points in leading CMU to an 88-71 victory over defending MAC champion Buffalo as the Chippewas improved to 11-4 overall, 3-0 MAC.
