Hudson, Moore lead women's basketball past Akron

Coming off of a career-high performance, sophomore guard Presley Hudson made sure that her team got its seventh home win on the season Wednesday night.

Central Michigan (10-4 overall, 2-0 MAC) defeated Akron (7-7, 0-2), 89-62 while Hudson added 35 points on 66 percent shooting from the field and went 6-for-9 from the 3-point line.

“I worked on trying to play my best, and I play for my team as I said before,” Hudson said.
