The Central Michigan football team's practice was was focused eliminating opponents big plays and not making mistakes of their own.
In the first half against Boston College, penalties and special teams errors helped the Eagles to a 21-8 lead going into the locker room.
CMU pinned BC at their own one-yard line after a 42-yard punt off the leg of CMU punter Jack Sheldon. It led to a CMU safety on the next play, giving the Chippewas a 2-0 lead.
Another punt from Sheldon set up a score, this time it was for BC after a 61-yard punt return.
