Gymnastics win at Bowling Green, improves to 4-1 on the season

The CMU gymnastics team goes wild for their teammate during the meet against Ball State at McGuirk Arena, Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016.

Following a difficult senior night loss to Mid-American Conference leader Kent State last Sunday, CMU gymnastics got back on track in the MAC standings with a 195.750-195.150 win at Bowling Green.

CMU jumped out to a 48.850-48.8 lead in the first rotation without the help of Freshman all-around standout Kasey Janowicz. Janowicz competed in no events in the meet due to injury. Senior Karlee Teet lead the team with a 9.825.

Bowling Green stole the lead in rotation two with a low CMU vault score of 48.
