Goal with 1.5 seconds remaining lifts DIII hockey over Aurora to advance to ACHA semifinals

Needing just one more win to get a guaranteed spot in the semifinals of the American Collegiate Hockey Association National Tournament, the Central Michigan Division III hockey team was able to get the job done as they defeated Aurora University in a high scoring affair 7-6.

CMU started off the scoring with a power play goal by senior defenseman Tyler Carr. However, with just 22 seconds left in the first period, Aurora was able to tie it up with a goal of its own.

After each team recorded two more goals second period, it was tied 3-3 heading into the final period of play.
