MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Marcy Weston, an iconic figure in Central Michigan University athletics, has been selected to the Mid-American Conference Hall of Fame.
Weston, who retired in April, 2015, will be inducted into the prestigious hall as part of the Class of 2016 on June 1 in Cleveland.
Weston served CMU for more than 42 years, first as a coach and later as an administrator.
“I’m very rarely at a loss for words,” Weston said of her reaction when informed that she was to be inducted.
