MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan’s Reyna Frost has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week for women’s basketball.
Frost, a 6-foot junior forward, played a huge role in the Chippewas’ 69-65 victory at Ball State in their MAC opener on Saturday. Frost scored 23 points and hauled down 19 rebounds as CMU won on the road against one of its top division rivals.
Frost’s 19 rebounds were a season-high, and her 23 rebounds tied her season-high. It was her sixth double-double of the season.
