Fowler drafted by NBA Development League team

Chris Fowler has found his way to professional basketball.

The former Central Michigan men's basketball star was selected by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Development League Draft on Sunday. The Mad Ants took Fowler with the seventh pick of the second round.

Fowler averaged 14.5 points per game over the course of four seasons at CMU. A two-time All-Mid-American Conference First Team selection, Fowler is CMU's all-time leader in assists (686).
