When Central Michigan wide receiver Mark Chapman’s mother, Pattie Chapman, was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, an opportunity for Mark to play in the Canadian Football League begun.
Mark is half-Canadian and projected to go No. 2 in the 2018 CFL Draft to Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The CFL Draft takes place on May 3 and is eligible to players from Canadian Universities, along with Canadian players in the NCAA.
“It’s surreal to me,” Chapman said. “Being in the talks of playing ball at the next level makes me excited. I feel like I performed well at Pro Day and think we all did really well.
