Former Central Michigan pitcher Dietrich Enns is scheduled to make his major league debut tonight for the Minnesota Twins.

Enns, who pitched at CMU from 2010-12, was drafted by the New York Yankees after the 2012 season and spent the better part of five seasons in the Yankees’ system.

He along with minor-league pitcher Zack Littell were traded by the Yankees’ organization to the Twins for pitcher Jaime Garcia in late July.

Enns, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound left-hander has appeared this season on the mound for three minor league teams, most recently the Rochester Red Wings, Minnesota’s Triple-A affiliate.
