Former Central Michigan quarterback Cooper Rush agrees to deal with Dallas Cowboys as undrafted free agent

Four-year Central Michigan starting quarterback Cooper Rush was not selected Saturday afternoon during the final four rounds of the NFL Draft, but it was announced in the early evening that he will be signing as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys.

Kavon Frazier, a former Central Michigan standout and a 2016 sixth-round draft pick by the Cowboys, was the first to officially announce the news on Twitter: “Welcome to Dallas @rush_cooper !!! Can’t wait to play with you again!”

Rush was given a fourth round grade by many NFL Draft experts entering his senior season, but his stock slid after an up and down 2016.
