MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan quarterback Cooper Rush has added two preseason accolades to his ever-growing list.
Rush, a senior-to-be, has been named to the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award Watch List and was nominated to the Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team.
On Tuesday, Rush was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List. The Maxwell Award goes to college football’s player of the year, the O’Brien to the nation’s top quarterback, and the Allstate Good Works Team recognizes players who achieve both on and off the field, including a commitment to service, a strong academic foundation, and enriching the lives of others.
