MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Two former Central Michigan football players have accepted invitations to NFL rookie mini camps.
Offensive linemen Nick Beamish and Ramadan Ahmeti will attend rookie mini camps with the Minnesota Vikings and Tennesse Titans, respectively.
Rookie mini camps are three days in length. Teams may begin holding them on Friday.
Beamish is a 6-foot-3, 310-pound center who made 51 career starts at CMU, twice earning First Team All-Mid American Conference honors.
Beamish, a native of Riverview, Mich., was named to the Rimington Trophy Fall Watch List three times in his career, and last fall was a semifinalist for the William V.
