MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – It’s been a long time since anybody other than Nick Beamish has started at center for the Central Michigan football team.
Beamish, 6-foot-3, 310-pounder and a two-time First Team All-Mid-American Conference selection, started 51 consecutive games at the position, a streak that started with the season-opener in 2012.
