MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan quarterback Cooper Rush has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game.
The all-star game for college seniors is scheduled for Jan. 21 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. and the game will be broadcast by the NFL Network.
Rush, a senior from Charlotte, was named Third Team All-Mid-American Conference after completing 61.1 percent of his passes for 3,299 yards and 23 touchdowns in leading the Chippewas to a 6-6 record and a berth in the Miami Beach Bowl.
