MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan’s Cooper Rush is one of 15 quarterbacks nationwide to make the midseason watch list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
Rush, a senior from Charlotte, was one of the 43 signal-callers who made the preseason watch list for the award. He and Western Michigan’s Zach Terrell are the only Mid-American Conference representatives on the midseason list.
Rush and Terrell, along with Houston’s Greg Ward, are the only players on the list who hail from schools that do not belong to a Power-5 conference.
