Central Michigan’s football program is valued at $53.93 million, making it the most valuable in the Mid-American Conference and 70th-most valuable in Division I.
According to Andrew Beaton’s Sunday Wall Street Journal article “How Much Is Your Favorite College Football Team Worth,” CMU Football is the third most valuable program in Michigan, behind Michigan State ($246.56 million) and Michigan ($811.30 million).
Ohio State topped the list with a value of $946.6 million.
The annual study was conducted by Ryan Brewer, an assistant professor of finance at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus.
