MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – For several Central Michigan football players, 2017 has brought something new – something new built on an old idea: doing what’s best for the team.
Chris Kantzavelos, Clayton Walderzak, Jay Roberson and Alex Neering have moved positions for the season, filling a need for the team and seizing on an opportunity that (each hopes) ends up in more playing time.
The moves for Kantzavelos and Walderzak are relatively lateral. Kantzavelos has moved from defensive end to defensive tackle, Walderzak from tight end to offensive tackle.
