Following a 31-24 win over Northern Illinois in the final game of the season, the next step for the Central Michigan football team is preparing for a bowl game.

The Chippewas ended the regular season on a five game winning streak to finish 8-4 overall and 6-2 in the Mid-American Conference.

In 2015, CMU fell to Minnesota in the Quick Lane Bowl, 21-14.
