The box score left very little to complain about for Central Michigan Tuesday night.
In a game that was billed as a battle of the frontrunners in the two respective Mid-American Conference Divisions, Central Michigan took Kent State to the woodshed at McGuirk Arena.
The Chippewas used a solid first half and an outstanding second half to secure an 88-61 victory over the Golden Flashes, the second-largest winning margin CMU has had this season.
“There might be some other games you point to where we’ve played extremely hard and may not have had the margin of victory,” Central Michigan head coach Keno Davis said.
