Four finalists to be the next athletics director at Central Michigan University will visit campus for interviews beginning May 1.
Bob Martin, vice president for advancement and chair of the 16-member search committee, said the field was narrowed after a national search. Each candidate will have four interviews at CMU, meeting with President George E. Ross, the president’s cabinet, head coaches and senior athletic department staff, and the search committee.
“We attracted an impressive group of candidates, and our finalists all have extensive Division I experience in Power Five conferences,” Martin said. “These are quality people who have been successful at the highest levels and have a history of serving student-athletes.
