LOUISVILLE, Ky. – While not a win in the record books, it’s a game that the Central Michigan field hockey team can build upon.
CMU fell, 2-0, on Sunday to 15th-ranked Louisville (8-4) in a nonconference matchup at the Cardinals’ Trager Stadium. The Chippewas (0-11) are scheduled to host a pair of games with Mid-American Conference newcomer Appalachian State next weekend.
“I’m super pleased with our performance,” CMU coach Molly Pelowski said. “I know we didn’t get the win, but we fought and executed for 70 minutes.
