MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Senior Maude Stalars scored four minutes into the overtime period, lifting the Central Michigan field goal hockey team to a 2-1 victory Saturday at the CMU Field Hockey Complex.
It was the first win of the season for the Chippewas (1-3).
“In overtime we just played our game,” second-year Chippewa coach Molly Pelowski said. “Our game today had to do with passing and discipline on defense and our girls stuck to the process and I’m very proud of the way they played today.
