MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Catherine Ostoich’s first game as the Central Michigan field hockey coach will be at Colgate on Aug. 24, when the Chippewas open the 2018 season with a nonleague game against the Raiders.
The Chippewas released their 17-game schedule today. CMU begins the season with back-to-back road trips, the first to Colgate, N.Y., and the second to Philadelphia, where they will play two games two days against LaSalle.
CMU’s home opener is scheduled for Sept. 6 against Pacific, and its first Mid-American Conference contest is slated for Sept.
