Field Hockey. Field Hockey Drops Season Finale

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- The Central Michigan field hockey team lost its season finale on Friday, dropping a 3-1 Mid-American Conference decision to Ball State at the CMU Field Hockey Complex.

The Chippewas finished 1-17 overall, 0-6 MAC. It was their 12th consecutive loss. CMU’s lone win came on Sept. 3, over Quinnipiac, 2-1 in overtime.

Junior Emily Barber scored CMU’s goal with 4 minutes, 38 seconds remaining, cutting the Chippewas’ deficit 2-1. The Cardinals answered 42 seconds later when Hannah Bohn scored to restore their two-goal lead.
