MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan field hockey team dropped a 2-0 nonconference decision to Yale on Friday at the CMU Field Hockey Complex.
The Chippewas (0-7) will hit the road next weekend to take on Longwood (5-1) in their Mid-American Conference opener on Saturday (1 p.m.) and VCU on Sunday (1 p.m.)
Camille Scheyer and Bridget Condie scored the goals, both in the first half, on Friday to lead the Bulldogs (3-1).
CMU put the pressure on in the second half, but could not slice into the deficit.
