EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Central Michigan field hockey team dropped a 3-0 nonconference decision to Vermont at Michigan State’s Ralph Young Field on Friday.
The Chippewas, 0-3, will look to pick up their first win of the season against No. 21 American on Sunday (1:30 p.m.) at Ralph Young Field. The Eagles are 2-1 after a 1-0 victory over Michigan State on Friday.
“We have to prepare better and practice for the intensity that comes with match time,” CMU coach Molly Pelowski said. “Tomorrow we’re going to make adjustments for American and execute, but this time it’s going to start between our ears.
