MUNCIE, Ind. – The Central Michigan field hockey team dropped its final game of the season, 1-0, in overtime on Friday to Ball State at the Ball State Field Hockey Complex.
The Chippewas finished the season 0-18. 0-6 MAC. Ball State is 5-11, 1-4.
“The girls played their hearts out,” CMU assistant coach Annie Hansbury said. “I’m so proud of each of them. They played with heart and pride. Unfortunately the ball just didn’t bounce our way.”
Both teams recorded eight shots during regulation and finished an even 9-9 in that category for the game.
