MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Central Michigan field hockey team dropped a 2-0 Mid-American Conference decision to Appalachian State on Saturday at the CMU Field Hockey Complex.
The Chippewas (0-12, 0-3 MAC) will have another chance against the Mountaineers (5-8, 2-3) in a Sunday (noon) rematch. Sunday's games will not count in the league standings.
"We live and die by our execution," CMU coach Molly Pelowski said."We played a very good App State team - we knew they were going to be fast and physical.
