On Saturday afternoon from Quicken Loans Arena the Central Michigan University women’s basketball team claimed its first Mid-American Conference Tournament title in five years by bopping by the University at Buffalo by a final of 96-91 in the tournament title game.
With the win the Chippewas receive an automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Tournament which will unveil its seedings and field of teams on Monday night at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Fans can join the Chippewas for the unveiling at Hunter’s Ale House starting at 6 p.
