Colosky Leads Chippewas In Opening Round

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - The Central Michigan golf team shot 340 on Sunday in the opening round of the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, hosted by Georgia State, at Eagle's Landing Country Club.

The Chippewas are 17th in the 17-team tournament. Round two of the three-round event is scheduled for Monday.

CMU played Sunday's round without top player Jami Laude, who did not make the trip because of illness, and without lineup mainstay Holly Hines, who sat out because of illness.

Bria Colosky led the Chippewas with an 82, while Natalie Johnson shot 83, Kristen Wolfe posted an 86, and Meghan Deardorff carded an 89.
