YPSILANTI, Mich. - Natalie Johnson shot 78-75 - 153 on Monday to lead the Central Michigan golf team on day one of the Shirley Spork EMU Invitational at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
Johnson stands at 9-over par and tied for 14th place in the 58-player field.
The Chippewas are in ninth place with a 632 total, three shots behind Ohio and Dayton, which are tied for seventh, and within 10 shots of fourth-place Cleveland State (622).
CMU posted an opening-round 317 on Monday morning and followed with a 315 in the afternoon.
