They just keep winning and Lexi Pelafas just keeps scoring.
On Sunday afternoon from the CMU Soccer-Lacrosse Stadium the Central Michigan University women’s soccer team nailed down a 2-1 double overtime victory over visiting Ohio.
As it was Pelafas, a star sophomore forward, netted both goals in the win which gives her 15 for the season.
Her 15 goals are a single-season school record, breaking the previous standard of 14 set by Allison Campbell back in 2001.
“It’s a big moment in terms of the legacy of this team and this program,” said CMU head coach Peter McGahey in a press release.
