MUNCIE, Ind. – They’re starting to create a little separation.
On Wednesday night the Central Michigan University women’s basketball team nailed down a huge Mid-American Conference victory at Ball State as it topped the hosts 74-65 from Worthen Arena.
With the win the Chippewas improve to 16-7 overall and to 10-2 in MAC play while the Cardinals fall to 16-6 overall and to 8-3 in MAC action.
CMU also now leads the MAC West Division by a full game over Ball State with six games left on the docket.
The Chippewas took a 22-15 lead at the end of one and bumped it to 33-27 by the half.
