MUNCIE, Ind. - Worthen Arena is a tough place to play.
Historically speaking the CMU women’s basketball program has had a tough time playing at Ball State over the years but that wasn’t the case Saturday as the Chippewas opened Mid-American Conference play with a 69-65 win over the host Cardinals.
The victory snapped Ball State’s 11-game winning streak and was its first loss of the season. With it the Cardinals fall to 11-1 overall and to 0-1 in MAC play.
The Chippewas improve to 9-3 overall and more importantly to 1-0 in MAC play via the win.
