CMU women drop second straight

T0LEDO, Ohio - The Central Michigan University women’s basketball team dropped its second-straight Mid-American Conference game Saturday as it lost to host Toledo 74-72 from Savage Arena.

The Chippewas fall to 14-6 overall and to 6-2 in MAC play via the loss while the Rockets improved to 13-6 overall and to 4-4 in MAC play all while snapping a three-game losing streak.

The Chippewas trailed for the majority of the game and were in constant foul trouble as Presley Hudson, Cassie Breen and Jewel Cotton all sat more than usual.

Junior center Tinara Moore had a monster game as she tallied 33 points and had eight rebounds.
