The Central Michigan University women’s basketball team ran its winning streak to three games on Saturday afternoon as it topped host Miami by an 84-66 count.
With the win the Chippewas improve to 11-3 overall and to 3-0 in MAC play. The RedHawks fall to 9-5 overall and to 1-2 in MAC play following their first home defeat of the season.
CMU came out hot and took a 27-15 lead at the end of one quarter before claiming a 46-36 lead going into the half.

A 21-16 run in the third quarter put the game out of reach.
