WEST POINT, N.Y. – Having two wins under your belt is not at all a bad way to start on opening weekend.
The Central Michigan volleyball team would tend to agree.
The Chippewas swept St. Francis Brooklyn in three sets to open the Army Invitational on Friday at Army’s Christl Arena. The Chippewas recorded their second victory of the day with a 3-1 win over Hartford, which is coached by former CMU assistant Mitch Kallick.
CMU is scheduled to conclude the season-opening invitational against the host Black Knights on Saturday (noon).
