MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan softball can check an awful lot of boxes this weekend.
And make some history.
The Chippewas head into their final regular-season series at Eastern Michigan having already nailed down a share of the Mid-American Conference West Division title and holding a two-game lead over Ohio in the overall MAC standings. The Bobcats play a three-game series beginning on Saturday at Buffalo.
• One win would give the Chippewas the outright West title, which they have not won since 2008, and a share of the overall regular-season MAC title.
