CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Central Michigan softball team picked up two wins against Hartford and Villanova in their first of 12 games in a 10-day Spring Break trip to Florida.
The Chippewas improved to 6-6 and are riding a five-game win streak. They defeated Hartford, 10-2, in five innings and Villanova, 5-0. It was the fourth time CMU has shut out an opponent so far this season.
Winning pitcher Hanna Warren was in the circle for Central Michigan all five innings against Hartford. She allowed two hits and struck out five.
