On Saturday afternoon, the Central Michigan Chippewas looked to bounce back from their close loss Monday at the University of Michigan when they faced off against Eureka College from McGuirk Arena.
The home team got what it was looking for too as it defeated the Division III foe, 103-68.
The Chippewas began the game on a 12-2 run thanks to seven quick points from sophomore David DiLeo, who finished with a career-high 28 points. The forward lit up Eureka with eight makes from long distance and added in eight rebounds and four assists.
“My shot just felt good today,” he said.
