CMU senior Kavon Frazier a potential NFL sleeper as he prepares for final collegiate game

Nine months ago, new Central Michigan head coach John Bonamego was still learning the names and abilities of his players during one of the initial spring practices.

One player in particular caught his eye early on.

“Who is that guy? He has an NFL body,” Bonamego asked someone close by.

Bonamego certainly carried the expertise to be asking such a question as his previous 16 years were spent in the National Football League as a special teams coordinator, most recently with the Detroit Lions.

The player in question was senior safety Kavon Frazier, measuring in at a chiseled 6-foot-0 and 218 pounds.
