CMU men off to slow start in MAC at 1-3

The Central Michigan Chippewas came into Mid-American Conference play as hot as any other team in the country with an 11-2 record. There was a lot of buzz around campus surrounding them too, some even saying they could make a run at the regular-season conference title. After Saturday’s 93-82 loss to Toledo from McGuirk Arena, the Chippewas are 1-3 in the MAC with two road games next up on the menu.

“No one’s happy in the locker room,” Shawn Roundtree said. “We have to battle through adversity and figure some things out. We need to come out with more energy to start the halves.
