SETTING THE SCENE
The Central Michigan men’s basketball team will entertain Tennessee Tech in a nonconference game on Saturday (1 p.m.) at McGuirk Arena.
THE STREAK
The Chippewas’ lone loss came nearly four weeks ago at Michigan, 72-65. They have since won six consecutive games, the last of which was a 75-48 victory over Montana State on Tuesday at McGuirk. Kevin McKay scored 17 points to lead four Chippewa double-figure scorers in the game.
DEFENSE
• The 48 points scored by Montana State was the lowest point total by a CMU opponent since the Chippewas held Arkansas Pine Bluff to 43 on Nov.
