Just last weekend the Central Michigan University women’s basketball won the Jankanoo Jam title in the Bahamas as it topped San Diego State 85-76 in overtime before dismantling a very good Iowa State team 81-60 to claim the tournament title.
With the invite crown the Chippewas (4-1), who are the favorites to win the MAC title in 2018, ran their winning streak to four games and counting. Heading into Thursday’s 7 p.m. home non-conference contest against Aquinas (5-3) the Chippewas are rolling along and head coach Sue Guevara wants to keep this trend trending.
