MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - For the second consecutive year, the Central Michigan lacrosse team was recognized on the Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
CMU, in its second year as a varsity sport during the 2017 season, was one of 300 schools representing across Division I, II, III, and NAIA to be honored.
In order to be named an academic honor squad, a team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team grade point average for the 2016-17 academic year.
Junior defender Amber Crouse was also named to the IWLCA 2017 Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll.
