The regular-season finale brings with it a potential title.
On Thursday night at 7 p.m. from McGuirk Arena the Central Michigan University gymnastics team closes out the 2018 regular-season docket with a Mid-American Conference dual meet against Ball State (9-8, 3-3 MAC).
The Chippewas come into the dual with an overall record of 7-7 and a conference marker of 4-1. With a win they would lock up the regular-season MAC title. If they lose and Northern Illinois wins Saturday against Bowling Green the Chippewas would share the title with the Huskies.
However,the Chippewas don’t want to share the crown, rather they want to win it outright.
